The Rationale Behind the
Modura Double Tier Sink

This is our double tier sink. When buying this sink, it is however important to understand the rationale of two levels of tracks.

The upper tier is mostly where you will put the cutting board. Since this is a top mount only sink, you will technically be chopping at the counter level.

The lower tier is where the colander and drying rack sits. This is where you rinse and the water drips inside the sink.

Please note that all pieces including rack, colander, strainer, can be used at any level. Above is the popular approach of many American homes. A lot of similar double tiers available in the market are either for big kitchens or lack accessories. We made this luxury workstation for a small kitchen that has a minimum cabinet size of 33".

All our sinks come with a 10 year limited warranty and support. Feel free to shop double tier if you like the idea of 2 tiers and multiple accessories.

Questions About This Sink

What does double tier mean?

There are two ledge levels inside the sink. The cutting board and drying rack sit at different heights, so you can prep and drain at the same time over one bowl.

How is this different from the black workstation sink?

This one is silver, runs 22 in front to back, and has the two level ledge system. Pick it if you want the largest working surface over your sink.

Can I install it undermount?

No, this model is top mount only. If you need undermount, look at the Narrow Rim or the black workstation sink.
